We thought we would give you the inside scoop on who our models are and what they’re up to. Each one is seriously a badass and we could go on and on about them. Beauty and brains at its finest! First up: Amber Bachelor
• What do you do? (Work, school etc)
Currently, I’m working as full time waitress, at the raddest Long Beach restaurant 5-6 days a week. I'm working a ton, saving my money in order to travel and live out my dreams before starting my work career.
• What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical day starts out by reading exciting currents events on my iPhone, with a cup of coffee and listening to a groovy tune. Anything from fashion, to news, music to hysterical meme’s my girlfriends send me from the night before. I usually work most days so heading to work would be next endeavor. Since it’s summer right now, I will almost always try to make plans for after work to either do something active such as running, working out or playing tennis (a new found hobby that I enjoy) or do something relaxing but social with friends when if I can. I try to never miss the sunset, that’s for sure J
• What’s your favorite fun thing to do? Or any hobbies?
My favorite thing to do is going on an adventure and exploring new and old places. I genuinely love being outside, in the sun, near the water or around nature. And if sprinkled with friends and family, that is the ultimate treat.
On my days off, I try to do this as must as possible.
• What would be your dream career?
A dream career of mine would to be a creative director in fashion or photography, executing creative visions for a brand or a business. Any job where I could see my creativity comes to lifethat would be a dream.
• What’s been your biggest accomplishment thus far?
My biggest accomplishment thus far, for sure is graduating college this past December. I graduated from Long Beach State with a bachelor’s in communications studies with an emphasis in public relations. It was the most overwhelmingly humbling, rewarding feeling once I’d completed this long journey of mine. I learned so much in my last semesters, in both areas of study that I’m looking forward to learning more in my future career.
• What’s your type of style? (Current trends you can’t live without)
This is a hard one! I always say to my friends, “I don’t have a style, I just wear what I like,” and that couldn’t be farther from truth. I definitely would describe my style as spunky and unpredictable. From boyfriend jeans to summer dresses, I always want to keep it exciting. I’m in love with patterns, colors, funky prints and a good statement piece. But I also love the color black and have a desire for mixing it up from mellow to spicy ;)
A trend I cannot live without or pieces I won’t pass up are leather jackets. I love my leather jackets, I have a few and I even created a leather jacket for a Rolling Stones concert for myself (ps. The Stones are one of my favorite bands and you should have seen Jagger’s outfit changes & sequenced red duster, everything!!!)
I couldn’t live without a good, memorable leather jacket. Even when I’m older, I might not wear it but I can look at it and smile or pass onto my children, which my mom has so graciously done to me.
• Tell me something interesting about yourself
Something interesting about myself is that even though I don’t sew
( Hehe - I really want to learn!)
I really enjoy designing costumes and clothes for myself. I have handmade numerous Halloween costumes, costumes for events and even sprucing up a daily outfit if in mind. I feel like I can create something out of nothing a lot of the times with my costumes and I love the creative process that goes into these hobby projects and memories that come with each child <3
• What or who inspires you?
People, places and things inspire me. By people I mean, meeting new faces, learning about different cultures, enjoying others stories in the world around me inspires me. Passionate, goodpeople inspire me. Places, as in Mother Nature’s creations, cities around the world and the amazing life this planet has to offer us inspire me. Things that inspire me range from many different expressions of self. Such as music, art, cinematography, photography, architecture, literature and dance. And also things you can’t touch such as love, social connection andserendipity moments give me hope.

• Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years, I see myself happy, healthy and smiling wherever life takes me!
• What’s the first thing that pops in your head when you think about Carolmine?
The first thing that pops into my head when I think about Carolmine is how unbelievably awesome it is to see a Millikan girl, killing it at the fashion game from my high school and being such a girl boss creating her passion into reality! Carolmine is the cotton candy you adore and want more of
• Anything else you would like me to know?
I had BEYOND a blast shooting Carolmine with my sister and I will never forget that precious memory because of you! Thank you again, it meant a lot to Hailey and I to do it together. It was such a fun day.
